VOLUNTEER AS A BLOOD DONOR

One of the noblest ways to become a volunteer can be found in hospitals and in their transfusion centers.

Thousands of people, between 18 and 65 years of age, choose every day to go and donate a little quantity of their blood, which will be given to those in need, especially those undergoing surgical operations.

Blood donation is crucially important in civil society and for its balances. It is a free action that benefits someone indiscriminately and it can save lives.

Moreover, summer is the toughest period of the year, since the demand for blood in the hospitals is at its highest levels, while the supply of blood sacks is extremely limited. That’s why we should all embrace our civil responsibilities and become part of such an amazing world: “blood donors” are “life donors”!
